Canadian Society of Agricultural Appaisers (CSAA) applicants may choose to begin the process of becoming an appraiser in one of three agricultural divisions (Livestock, Farm Equipment or Equine) or may choose to apply for a combination of divisions, or all three, depending on their background and experience.
$200 Application Fee
Complete the application form and return to the CSAA along with the application fee. CSAA will review your application, and if your experience and background meets CSAA requirements for Candidate for membership, your application will be approved. If your application is not approved, 100% of your application fee will be refunded immediately.
Once your CSAA Candidate application has been approved, you will be required to sign a CSAA Code of Conduct and submit payment of $350 for your Candidate for membership fee (discounts available for multiple memberships - Equine, Livestock and Farm Equipment).
All new CSAA Candidates for membership must complete a CSAA approved 15-hour Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) course and CSAA Introductory Course in Agricultural Appraisals within three months of Candidate for membership approval.
